Element of Prime, Dörte Lyssewski
WORLD PREMIERE
Since 1999, the Imago Dei Festival has been presenting music from different eras, cultures, and religions. Every spring, the Krems Minorite Church becomes a special cultural venue.
Accompanying texts from Robert Burton’s “The Anatomy of Melancholy” (1651), read by Dörte Lyssewski, are all seven “Lachrimaes” by John Dowland, works by Anthony Holborne, and improvisations by Element of Prime.
