COLLA VOCE

The human voice is regarded as humanity’s oldest musical instrument. No wonder then that humankind during the ages strove to make and develop musical instruments capable of imitating this exquisite role model. The five part recorder consort, Element of Prime, and the Leonhard Paminger Ensemble blend their characteristic colors, merge and divide sound.

Eleven musicians present music from the 16th century in all its inherent beauty. The overall sound is elaborate and rich, yet natural and pure.

The program includes works by Cristóbal de Morales, Orlando di Lasso, John Wilbye, Lelio Bertani for 5 to 11 parts.
