One day, Viola, the little viola, receives an exquisite invitation to the grand ball at the royal court.

The little viola is almost beside herself with excitement. Of course she wants to attend the glamorous celebration. Fantastic music fills the air from the court orchestra. Viola is enchanted by the many recorders, big and small—some even larger than a grown-up!

Renaissance music provides the melodious backdrop for the glittering celebration.
